Lixuz

About

Lixuz is a content management system written in perl. Lixuz is using Catalyst, DBIx::Class, jQuery and several other libraries. It is capable of handling anything from small websites to large news portals, and has built-in support for automated image-resizing and audio/video playing. Though still under development, the current version is already being used on several websites, ranging from corporate homepages to news portals.

Lixuz is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3 (or later), which grants you, the user (or developer for that matter) full control over the software.

By default Lixuz uses "FastCGI", enabling it to run under many different web servers, including Apache 2 and nginx. It also has caching with memcached builtin to speed up common page requests, and reduce database load for complex queries.
